“Where there is no vision, the people perish.”  Proverbs 29:18.  The Hebrew word for perish means naked, exposed.  God wants us to have vision.  Are you clear what God wants you to do?  What about your children?  Do they know what God wants them to do?  The Faith At Home vision is is not a new movement.  Moses declared  it 3000 years ago in Deuteronomy.  New Testament writers quoted Deuteronomy more than 100 times and Jesus quoted it more than any other Old Testament Book.  Deuteronomy 6 is about you and your children and what God wants you to do for and with your family.  Jesus taught, “Where your treasure is, there will be your heart.” Matthew 6:21.  In other words, choose to love God.  God commands us to show him love daily because He knows as we do this, our love for him will grow.

When you get up in the morning, when you go to bed at night, when you’re walking with your children or riding somewhere, when you’re relaxing, talk to your kids about a loving God.  And if you have grown kids and you didn’t do this with them–decide today to share with them and your grandkids, nieces, nephews or neighborhood kids about the great and merciful God who loves them and wants them to love Him.

This Faith At Home based ministry is an awakening by the Holy Spirit.  We have seen many men and women who have the same desire for change in family worship: Foursquare, Episcopals, Lutherans, Baptists, Catholics and Non-denominationals are becoming family-equipping churches.  More than 50 differennt authors, pastors and teachers on this subject are saying this is the heart of God, not a program, but a life-style.
