David is a devoted follower of Jesus Christ, a husband and the father of three grown sons and grandfather of 3 grandchildren.  He was told by his mother that he was related to the well known missionary to Africa, Dr. David Livingstone.  David’s own faith in Jesus Christ lead him the past two decades to work in the field of missions with churches in California to many countries: Nepal, Ukraine, West Bank of Israel, Cambodia, Armenia, Gambia in West Africa, as well as, the Amazon in Brazil. 

Since 2010, the Livingstons have  become passionately involved with the movement of Faith at Home, (www.faithathome.com by Mark Holmen) working intentionally with families and churches to ensure that God has a primary place in the home–not just in the church.  Helping churches and families to become lifelong partners to raise fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ is David’s heart cry.  He believes this is not just a program, but a lifestyle; a movement of God, not just a fad.  He now meets with pastors and church leaders to help take what’s learned in church on Sunday into the home on Monday, because research bears it true that Mom and Dad are the most influential spiritual nurturers of their own children.
